August 2011-February 2012. What have the Ruperto's been up to?

A lot has happened in the past 6 months. Sorry I haven't been able to keep the blog updated. So here it goes starting with August 2011 to current.

AUGUST 2011
Hayden wasn't to thrilled about the first day of school after being home all summer. He had a hard time with the transition.

Hunter is happy as usually. He is enthusiastic about going back to school to see his friends.

My little boy is "5". I cannot believe how fast the time goes. We enjoyed celebrating his birthday bowling with the entire family. Aunt Chelle was sick so she wasn't able to come but we got to celebrate with her later in that week.

SEPTEMBER 2011

We had a great day bowling with grandma in September.

OCTOBER 2011

The boys had a ball picking pumpkins at the patch.  Hunter wanted the biggest one of course. Hayden was more interested in running around like a crazy man.

We had fun at the fall festivals this October.

Hayden is a huge Super Mario Brothers fan. So grandma whipped together these fantastic costumes for the Ruperto Fam.

NOVEMBER 2012

We went to the Stuart Air Show in November. Hunter and Daddy had a wonderful time exploring the planes and watching the show. Hayden lasted about 20 minutes and had his head planted in my lap when the show started. It was a little loud and overwhelming for him.

Hunter is so big. He is a little man. The family came to the house to celebrate Hunter's "9"th birthday.

Happy Thanksgiving!  We celebrated Thanksgiving as we always do at our house with a big family brunch and a small quiet dinner in the afternoon.  Rick and I love hosting Thanksgiving and getting the family together.

DECEMBER 2011

This December we followed our Christmas Traditions. Parade, visit Santa, gingerbread house and baking.

This year we had a surprised visitor at our house Christmas Eve.  Hayden wasn't to sure about this guy. He was curious but hesitant. Hunter was in awww!  He loved seeing Santa at his house and getting to have some one and one time with him. Wonder what he is asking Santa for now?

Christmas morning was a blast! Rick and I love seeing the boys faces as they open their gifts. Hunter got his bike and Hayden got his batman house.

We celebrated Christmas Brunch at grandma's.  The family was all there to enjoy the holiday together.

Christmas dinner was at grandpa's and mimi's house. It is so nice to have a full day with the family. It is so crazy day to day, week to week, month to month.  This is a time everyone stops what they are doing to come together to spend quality time with one another.
I just love my family.

JANUARY 2012

Boys being crazy as usual. The cold weather was not going to stop these two from having some fun in the pool.

Hunter earned the Silver Honor Roll. He was 1 point away from getting straight  A's. We are so proud of him.

FEBRUARY 2012

Hunter is a Yankee.
He loves playing sports and baseball seems to be his thing this past year.  The boy has an arm, thats for sure.

Hayden wanted in on the action too. He joined the Challenger Baseball League and is having a wonderful time. There is no competition and everyone gets to play. We love seeing him get involved in  "typical" activities.

Well that  brings us up to date. The Ruperto's are here and doing well. Just very busy with life.  We hope to be back here real soon with more updates. Have a great Spring!

Easter Weekend 2011

We went to our church , Covenant Fellowship ,  on Saturday. We played games, egg toss, and kids got to hunt for Easter Eggs.
The kids got to listen to the story of Easter.
JESUS IS ALIVE!!!

We visited the Easter Bunny. Then we colored Easter Eggs. The Boys had a blast with the egg spinner.
Easter morning, Hunter couldn't wait to see if the Easter Bunny had
arrived. He woke us up at least 6 times from 5am on. It
was really cute to see him still be so excited about the holidays.
Hayden didn't really understand what was going on so he slept til' his normal wake up time.  They had so much fun running around finding eggs. Hunter is a master at finding the eggs. Hayden needed a little assistance.  As always, his amazing brother was there to help him. Hunter you are the best!

Then we met Mom and Matt for breakfast, which to our surprise wasn't crowded at all. We all sat outside in the rockers and talked for a little while. It was a nice quiet morning.
In the afternoon, we went to Dad's and Linda's for a swim.  Everyone was there. We enjoyed swimming, talking, volleyball and we even got to play a game of egg toss. The kids had a blast.
It was a big day and we had a lot of fun. But by 6pm we all were
ready to drop. And of course our little con artist was able to talk grandma into having him spend the night. Little Stinker!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter Sunday.
God Bless!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHELLE!
